I’m a documentary filmmaker based in Pasadena, California, working at the intersection of cinema, journalism, and cultural history.
I began my career at PanArmenian Media School, studying TV directing and producing, then continued at the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema. I started out in radio and television, and later created Kino21, a show about films and filmmaking.
Over the years, I directed various TV programs while gradually focusing more on documentary storytelling. I co-produced PanArm Production, a YouTube channel in collaboration with PanArmenian Media School, and continued developing my documentary practice at Hetq Media Factory. There, I created The Ban on Armenian Cinema, a documentary series exploring censorship in Armenian cinema.
In 2024, I founded DoSDoF NGO—a small platform to support emerging filmmakers and promote collaboration in documentary and science-based film.
